The Arthaus, Hackney, London

As I was travelling with my parents, we thought an apartment with a couple of bedrooms and bathrooms would be more suitable than a hotel room or two.  Airbnb had a new complex in the heart of Hackney, London that was perfect.  The Arthaus was to be our accommodation for the time we were in London.Not only was it just around the corner from where my brother and his fiancé were living, but it was within walking distance to shops, the Broadway Market, restaurants and pubs and a number of train and bus stations.  London Fields were also only a short walk away.

The apartment was spacious, and contained two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a large verandah which we made good use of.  The place was very clean and contained everything you would need to make your stay comfortable like the kitchen pantry containing a range of spices, sauces and condiments to cook with, shampoos and toiletries in the bathroom and even a good selection of wines.  It was nice being able to cook a few meals instead of having to eat out all the time.  We took advantage of the large verandah sitting out there to eat whilst enjoying the beautiful autumn weather and the views.
