I had a good feeling about this place even before we arrived. The reviews I read online were great and the customer service I received from Hilton leading up to our stay when I contacted them was excellent. Turns out our expectations were not just met but surpassed.
Address
3 Jalan Stesen Sentral, Kuala Lumpur 50470 , Malaysia
Date stayed
Thursday 15th August 2019 for three nights
Price
1509 MYR ($534.72 AUD) for 3 nights + 10 MYR per night tourism tax for the three nights. This rate included buffet breakfast for two each day. We booked through Hilton directly, signing up to their Honours program to give us free WiFi in our room.
Room Type
King Deluxe. We were upgraded to a room on the 22nd floor. As we were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary, the staff had made up two beautiful swans on our bed out of towels. We were also left a box of the yummiest chocolates and a card. It was a beautiful surprise.
Location
The Hilton KL is situated right next to Sentral Station and Nu Sentral Shopping centre with undercover access to both. It is easily accessible to nearby attractions including the National Museum of Malaysia and the Perdana Botanical Gardens as well as those attractions further afield but easy to get to from the undercover air-conditioned walkway that leads to the train station. It also made our trip back to the airport very easy with the KLIA Ekspres right at our door step.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served at Vasco’s which you will see just after exiting the lifts on the lobby level. It would have to be the largest buffet breakfast I’ve seen in my life and I’ve had quite a number. There is a wide range of Asian and International cuisine from places such as Malaysia, India, China, Japan, Middle East, England and America. A few of my favourites were the cheese roti, the curried laksa and the bread and butter pudding with vanilla sauce.

Summary
In terms of hotels, Hilton KL would have to be the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly, the service was exemplary, and the large modern rooms with their floor to ceiling windows and marble bathrooms were just beautiful. The hotel contains all the amenities you could want including a beautiful pool set amongst palm trees with bars and restaurants to enjoy a drink or a meal whilst watching the sun set. The breakfast selection was the largest I’ve ever seen anywhere and the food tasted delicious . And having the Hilton attached to a large shopping centre and train station as well as a number of tourist attractions, it makes for a very convenient location. Thank you Hilton KL for making our stay one we will always remember and look back on fondly.
