Espace Elastique, Tai-O, Lantau Island, Hong Kong

Located on the western side of Lantau Island, this fishing village is like what Hong Kong used to be like before the days of expensive shopping malls and high rise apartments.

Espace Elastique is a B&B run by a friendly lady named Veronica.  The accommodation stands out from most there as being more upmarket.  The rooms were very clean and you were asked to leave your shoes at the bottom of the stairs.

• Breakfast lacked variety and creativity and offered no Asian options
• Not as authentic feeling as other more traditional accommodation

In Summary: If clean, modern and friendly is what you’re after then I can recommend this place.  If you’re after a more traditional or local experience, then maybe this isn’t the pick.
