This place was magical from the moment you arrived. Described as a lavish Victorian palace nestled along the shores of the south china sea, a trip to Disneyland is not complete without a stay here.
No detail has been spared in encompassing the Disney theme into this resort. Yes the price is rather on the high side but the fond memories will make it all worthwhile. Not to mention the look on the kids faces when they walk in. We had a Sea View room which encompassed everything Disney.
The highlight for me was the breakfast. The Disney characters were fun and we had the obligatory photos taken to bring home as a reminder of the experience. But it was the massive range of food at the breakfast buffet that blew me away.
Food from all over the world as well as the cute Disney waffles and pancakes with all the toppings you could possibly think of. It was here that I sampled the best Bircher Muesli ever. It’s impossible to try everything on offer but I did my best.
Pros
A magical place to stay with easy access to Disneyland
Amazing breakfast with delicious food and Disney characters for the kids
The Disney train that took you to Disneyland was really cute
Cons
Expensive
Check in time was long as there were big queues
The swimming pool was empty but it may have been under maintenance
In Summary: This place really added to the special Disney experience. I’d say it was worth it!
