Situated near eateries and public transport, this Holiday Inn provided heavenly views over San Francisco’s bay or city. Here kids twelve and under can stay and eat for free. With 26 floors, all 496 rooms are non-smoking. Pets are allowed to stay at this hotel.
We flew in late to San Francisco and it was a decent drive to the hotel from the airport. We had requested a floor high up so were pleased they were able to accommodate our request. Looking out the window almost made you feel dizzy, it was so high up. But as you can see, the views were impressive.
The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Free high speed internet was available and the fitness centre was well equipped. The resort had a pool which is currently undergoing renovations along with some other parts of the hotel. The rooms were renovated in 2013. The Hotel is only a five minute walk from a Whole Foods store, offering a selection of food for breakfast or lunch. And the ocean is only about a ten minute walk away.
Pros:
- Magnificent views
- Good sized rooms with comfortable beds
- Check-out is at 12 pm allowing plenty of time to pack up and leave
Cons:
- Parking is expensive as is the restaurant
In Summary:
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and especially appreciated the great views from the window of our room.
