American Airlines B787-9 (Dreamliner) taking off from Sydney Airport

It had been a long day already with a car ride to the train station, a two hour train ride to NYC, a couple of subway rides to the airport, a six hour flight to LA and now a 15 hour flight to Sydney followed by a short flight home.  So needless to say I was not too excited about this red eye flight except that I was looking forward to seeing our family back home. Excited to be boarding our American Airlines B787-9 plane to Los Angeles

I love flying to a country on its national airline and today we were trying out American Airlines for the first time on our flight from Sydney to Los Angeles.  Not only that, it would be our first time on the B787-9 Dreamliner which I had heard so much about and couldn’t wait to experience.
